I really wish they released "non equipped" weights and then the weight with all safety equipment. Both to see which cars are actually lightweight but have tons of equipment, and which ones don't appear heavy, but have almost no equipment weight.

I'm very surprised that they let it get that heavy. Looks like I'll be keeping my C6Z...

Guess all that trash I talked about the new Mustangs weight gain is coming back to haunt me. Doesn't bother me too much since they already ruined the Z06 name for being a track focused beast. Whenever they show us the real track model they better hit weight watchers.

Piggy, piggy, piggy, can't you see.
Sometimes corvettes just hypnotize me.
I don't like these fatty gains
Guess that's why you're broke and porsche's paid

~3,500 lbs
650 horsepower
Yeah, don't see a problem here.

Still better power:weight than the previous Z06/ZR1 though.

Better than the C6 Z06, but poorer than the C6 ZR1.

D'oh, you're right. My math was off.
Psshh, 0.2 lb more per horsepower!? This car fucking sucks.
;)

Well, since we are all about splitting hairs here on oppo, i figured I'd correct you. Didn't bother doing a calculation, but 10 horsepower won't make up for over 100 extra pounds.
